Brad Egna founded Nest Egg Management in 2009. Nest Egg is a private investment firm focusing on real estate, direct private equity and Family Office administration. Nest Egg leverages the founder's 20 + years of experience in real estate, consumer products, fashion, marketing, international trade and licensing.
Nest Egg's Direct Private Equity investment strategy is to partner with proven and talented operating executives, entrepreneurs and/or management teams, actively advising them on all aspects of the business, including operational, tax, import, sourcing and strategic planning.
Nest Egg manages residential real estate in NYC and partners with operators in other states on commercial and residential properties.
Prior to forming Nest Egg Management, Brad was president of the Branded Apparel Group (a division of Li & Fung USA) from 2006-2010, a leader in branded and entertainment licensed apparel. He was responsible for all aspects of the business, including business strategy, acquisitions, marketing, licensing, operations, sourcing and sales. Brad identified and negotiated the acquisition of two key industry players and the consolidation of one internal division. The result was the creation of the Branded Apparel Group, one of the largest global entertainment and licensed apparel companies.
In 1988, prior to joining Li & Fung USA, Brad founded Briefly Stated, Inc., a fashion apparel company specializing in music, entertainment and branded licensed sleepwear, underwear and t-shirts. Briefly Stated had offices in Hong Kong, China and New York City. In 2006, the company was sold to Li & Fung USA.
Brad grew up in Great Neck, New York and graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.
